What you’ll do Assistant Accountant – Cashbook
This role is ultimately responsible for processing financial transactions, maintain balance sheet reconciliations for all cashbook areas.
This role is one where we can help to train and mould you. You don’t necessarily need to have worked in an accounts role before but exposure to finance and a genuine interest in the financial world would be highly advantageous.
In this role you can expect to be involved in:
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Postings to the cashbook ledger
• Bank reconciliations
• Daily cash summary
• Processing credit card transactions
• Reviewing, processing and paying expenses
• Complete transport Direct Debits, posting and rejections
• Provide monthly expense trend analysis to Finance Director

What you’ll need to be successful as Assistant Management Accountant

• You’ll need to have great attention to detail and be able to work with and manipulate data
• You’ll need to have strong customer service and relationships skills as this role is people facing
• Ideally you’ll have experience of working within a financial setting or be a finance graduate
• You’ll be self-sufficient and able to manage your time effectively
