Cleaning role for a school farm (LE9 area).
DBS will need to be undertake prior to starting this role.
To ensure a high level of cleanliness is maintained throughout the school on a daily basis. To ensure that the whole school environment and support services are maintained to an adequate and acceptable standard.
Responsibilities include:
• To carry out cleaning duties required within the school and external building including hoovering, moping, dusting, wall washing, toilets sanitation, cleaning tables and chairs, communal areas, and internal windows.
• Use approved cleaning materials in accordance with instructions and COSHH Regulations
• To be responsible for the care of cleaning equipment and stock.
• Ensure site security by locking windows and doors when finished in each room.
• Report to Business Manager any defects seen, likely to affect security or health and safety. i.e broken windows etc.
• Deep clean for one day during school holidays prior to school reopening – to include carpets, rugs, windows, walls, fridges, freezers etc.
4pm – 7pm daily cleaning Monday- Friday, term time only with 6 full days cleaning prior to each new ½ term starts.
