Crynodeb
The combined Plastic and Breast Surgery service is currently carried out by Mr Douglas Macmillan, Mr Tuabin Rasheed, Miss Ellie Gutteridge, Miss Lisa Whisker, Mr Hazem Khout, Miss S. Nadia Gilani, Miss Susanna Polotto, Miss Razia Bano (Locum), Ms A Mumtaz (locum), Mr Stephen McCulley, Ms Anna Raurell, Miss Hulla Mohammed and Mr Sarmad Tamimy (plastics HOS). A joint breast reconstruction clinic is held each week at which both the breast surgeon and plastic surgeons are present. Joint consultant operating lists also take place on a weekly basis. Since its inception, the unit has been accredited for a TIG, oncoplastic breast surgical fellowship (a centrally funded and supernumerary post) by the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Additionally there are local breast/general and plastics surgical trainees and fellows in the team.
