With this in mind, this is a fantastic opportunity for a pipefitter welder - TIG to join the company supporting a major project in Swindon, SN3 4PE.
Duties
As a suitably qualified and experienced pipefitter welder - TIG, you will be working on site at a major manufacturing facility in Swindon, Wiltshire. Typical duties will include fabricating and butt welding schedule 10 and schedule 40 mild steel and stainless steel pipework 2" up to 8" diameter, along with 1" to 4" OD thin wall stainless steel pipework. Other duties will include installing mapress pipework, manufacturing brackets and the associated pipe supports along with assisting other pipefitter welders as necessary.
About You
Based ideally in Swindon, Wiltshire you will need to live within a commutable distance of SN3 4PE.
Demonstrable experience of pipefitting and stainless steel TIG butt welding within a food, drink or petro chemical processing environment is essential for this role.
You'll also need to have good all round welding experience with current or previous coding's to back this up.
IPAF is preferred as there is some high level work.
