This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, well organised, self-motivated person who would like a career in Finance to work within the Finance Team at North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust (the Trust).

The successful candidate will report to the Financial Services Manager and Capital Accountant to help provide a comprehensive technical / capital service to the Trust, training will be given to the successful candidate.
1. To carry out monthly control account reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies with the support of the Financial Services Manager.
2. Assist in the production of working papers where required for the Group’s statutory annual accounts.
3. To support the Capital Accountant in the maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register, including ensuring additions, enhancements and disposals are updated in a timely manner, running the depreciation report on a monthly basis and performing regular physical verifications of the Fixed Assets, including posting of any adjustments that are required to the Asset Register.
4. To assist in the production of working papers throughout the year for internal and external audit.
