Crynodeb

The chief purpose of this role is to support the needs of, and act as a change agent for, some of our flagship (digital) transformation programmes – in particular, communicating with and engaging audiences around this transformation.

Besides stakeholder and relationship management, this work will involve managing, developing, and delivering through internal and external communication channels, to help achieve the strategic priorities of both the Digital Programmes Team and North Bristol NHS Trust. This role incorporates a broad spectrum of work: drafting emails and bulletins, overseeing publications for internal audiences, coordinating events and other face-to-face activity, producing online content (e.g. for social media and the NBT intranet), and attending/updating project boards and steering groups.

The postholder will need to be credible, confident, self-driven, and able to work with a wide range of people.
• Act as Business Partner and ‘Change Agent’ to Digital Programme(s), identifying needs, creating, agreeing and maintaining comms and engagement plans, delivering against these, and reviewing their effectiveness.
• Channel Management as per project communication plan. This might include:• Creating and updating Intranet content.
• Producing copy for print, digital and social media formats.
• Managing in-person activity, e.g. information stands and drop-ins.
• Post on our Twitter handle and NBT Staff Facebook page.
• Attend Programme Governance Boards and Steering Groups where necessary, acting as the Communication Lead and SME.
• Attend and contribute to Programme Team Meetings.
• Interface and work with the NBT Central Comms Cell.
• Follow Trust Comms / Digital Programmes Team procedures and protocols.
• Undertake audits or surveys as necessary for own work.

You'll be part of the Digital Programmes Team , working within the NBT's IT Division. We're a welcoming and dynamic team/division who work closely with frontline colleagues to make their lives easier and help them deliver exceptional care. For this reason, we're well regarded within the Trust and have a track record of successfully delivering major change.

The ethos within the team is friendly, professional, flexible, hard-working, and with a genuine commitment to wellbeing. Whilst you're expected to spend 2 days a week onsite, we support hybrid/home working in a way that allows staff to arrange the working day/week around commitments outside work .
