This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a desire to be part of a team driving success.
Are you an articulate, experienced finance individual who wants to work for a service that puts customers first and who strives for success? Are you passionate about combining a high level of customer service whilst delivering challenging performance targets?
The first two positions are based in Enfield Council’s Exchequer Service, responsible for the financial administration of the Councils Direct Payments Scheme. The Team is responsible for the administration of prepaid cards, payment of personal budgets, audit and monitoring of account activity, and providing front line support to customers in relation to all financial aspects of the Scheme.
The third position is also based in Enfield Council’s Exchequer Services. The team is responsible for the Purchase to Pay service, ensuring that the P2P systems are maintained and support to users is provided, to ensure the Council can purchase and pay suppliers.
Key responsibilities:
- Audit and monitoring of bank account activity.
- Frontline support to internal and external customers
- Ensuring customers are paid promptly.
- Administration of prepaid cards
OR
- Maintaining the Council’s supplier file
- Creating new or amending existing supplier records, including conducting stringent checks to ensure accurate verification and compliance with Contract Procedure Rules
- Providing end user support with purchasing and paying suppliers
Candidate requirements:
- Knowledge of Direct Payments of Accounts Payable functions
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, including interpreting detailed and complex financial information.
- Ability to prioritise workloads and work to tight deadlines.
- Exceptional customer services skills and experience
