EdTech refers to the use of digital technology to facilitate learning and teaching. It encompasses a wide range of platforms, from virtual learning environments, virtual reality, digital assessments, learner analytics, audio and visual capabilities. The EdTech Product Manager primary responsibilities will be to support the University's efforts towards Digital Learning Transformation Programme, Graduate Success and Opportunities, Research and Innovation Excellence, by driving innovation in learning and teaching. The candidate will need to have a deep understanding of the latest technologies and trends in the EdTech space to ensure that the University stays ahead of the curve. One of the critical focus areas will be to support student retention and awarding gap with learning analytics. This will require leveraging data and insights to identify areas where students may be struggling and providing early interventions to ensure their success. The postholder will play a critical role in shaping the future of education and enabling students to achieve their full potential.
This role will require the postholder to effectively utilise their strong technical expertise in digital learning and teaching solutions, strong communication skills, have the ability to motivate change, demonstrate effective problem-solving skills, liaise proficiently with third party suppliers, display exceptional time management, and can drive the adoption of innovative technologies throughout the organisation.
This is a full time, permanent post within IT Services at Pontypridd.
The University is currently operating a hybrid-model of working. However, the successful candidate would be expected to work on campus for part of the week.
