Exciting Opportunity for a Dynamic Estates Professional with RICS Membership in Local Government!
We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to work as our Property and Estates Manager.
Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team of property professionals, you will have responsibility for all the council’s properties. In this varied and interesting role, you will assist with the development of and delivery of the council’s new Property Asset Management Plan.

Key Responsibilities
This is an interesting and varied role, and the main responsibilities include:
• Property Portfolio Management: Oversee the management of council officers to assist with the successful management of a diverse property portfolio. This will entail the day-to-day management of investment and operational assets.
• Facilities Team Leadership: Work with appointed officers to lead and inspire the Facilities team to ensure effective maintenance, security, and operational support for all properties.
• Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and execution of strategic plans for property assets and facilities aligned with community goals.
• Innovative Solutions: Propose and implement innovative solutions for property and facilities-related challenges, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, building positive relationships to achieve common goals.
Qualifications and Experience
• RICS Membership: Essential for this role, demonstrating your commitment to the highest professional standards. Applications will be considered if you are working towards your RICS membership.
• Property and Facilities Expertise: Proven experience in property management and facilities leadership.
• Proven ability to manage a team of property professionals who are there to assist the delivery of common goals in line with the details of the asset management plan.
• Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with property management software and digital tools.
