SJ Hussey Limited are looking for a highly motivated, innovative and self driven Social Media and Marketing Manager to work within their 5 busy & fast-growing brands.
Each brand has it’s own particular needs and demands for marketing so, we’re looking for someone who can adapt easily to different brand identities.
With over 140k followers on Facebook & Instagram, over 90k group members, and over 50k newsletter subscribers, this is a role for someone who is able to formulate sales campaigns that are engaging and entertaining, whilst also achieving analytics targets.
The successful candidate will be responsible for executing all aspects of digital marketing across the different brands, including managing each brands social media platforms, newsletters, advertising & analytics. You will be expected to pitch ideas, produce, shoot, and edit content across the different brands in a timely & professional manner.
You will initially be based in our Studio in Camborne, Cornwall, and you will need to reside within the county for this role. For the right candidate, we will consider a portion of the hours as home working once you are familiar with the needs of each of our brands.

Job Description:
We are looking for someone highly motivated, skilled, and self-driven with experience in building brands through social media and understanding how to maintain and expand on-line and social presence.
You will report to the Company Director.
You will:
• Manage multiple social media accounts across multiple platforms for multiple Company brands.
• Create engaging content across all platforms (Photography and Videography)
• Increase brand awareness and engagement among existing and new audiences
• Have the ability to work closely with the Company Director and team, to promote the brands and create growth across all platforms.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills engaging with our community, pass on any correspondence to specific teams and department members.
• Keeping up to date with trends and innovation on social media, as well as ensuring all activity is compliant in line with regulatory and compliance guidelines
• Possess a knowledge and understanding of the running, testing and improvement of Ads on Social Media platforms such as Meta, Google Adwords. Other platforms are a bonus.
• Run promotions and competitions for several brands simultaneously.
• Collaborate with brand affiliates creating partnerships and collaborations.
• Keep up to date on emerging trends and best practices in the social media and digital marketing landscape.
• Be a champion for our Company’s image and vision, to ensure consistency across all social media platforms. Uphold our brand ethos in every interaction.
• Be adaptable to change, different workloads and being able to manage different projects at the same time.
• Be comfortable with taking initiative and testing new strategies.
• Update, optimise & manage graphics and SEO across the Magento stores.
You Must
• Be able to interpret and understand Google and Meta Analytics
• Posses the ability to create successful advertising campaigns using Google and Meta Advertising Channels.
• Have strong photographic and video editing skills.
• Have strong use of graphic editing software.
• Be proficient in using Meta Business Manager / Google Adwords.
• Have a solid understanding of the technical aspects of paid social media and how these fit into different strategies and tactics for driving clicks and conversions.
• Bring a flexible approach to when and how you work. Working hours are to be split between the studio in Camborne, or at home.
• You are fluent in English Language. Any other languages are a plus.
• A strong working knowledge of Magento E-Commerce is advantageous.
