Job Purpose
PA/Carer to an autistic boy aged 11 years that attends a specialist provision. Happy boy who loves his routines and being taken out.
Role is in the home term time mainly helping him before and after school, and occasionally taking him to various after school activities. Holidays is taking him out for the day on his own or with family to various places in Norfolk such as the Dino Park or the Beach.
Reporting to: Parents
Location: NR4, Cringleford
Main Duties:
- Personal care such as showering and oral hygiene.
- Dressing and Administrating Medicine where necessary.
- Monitoring Health and Wellbeing.
- Meal Prepartion
- Household Tasks
- Providing Emotional Support and Friendship
Any other reasonable duties that may be necessary.
The above duties may vary from day to day.

Summary Terms and Conditions
- You will be reimbursed for any agreed expenses as part of this role.
- The rate of pay for this position is £12 p/h.
- Hours and times of work will be 9 hours each week with exact times to be negotiated with employer.
- A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer
- Satisfactory passing of mandatory training care courses.
- Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer.
- Completion of a satisfactory probation period of 3 months.
