Job PurposeSupporting me to access the local community for social activities and to help me do a weekly grocery shop.
Location: NR5, Costessey
Main Duties:
- To help me to do a weekly grocery shop.
- To do social activities with me, whether indoors or outdoors.
- Help me with any correspondence, which I may need help with.
- To guide me when we are out, as I am visually-impaired.
These duties may vary from day to day.Any other reasonable duties that may be necessary

Essential
- Has knowledge of working with visually-impaired people.
- Driving License with Business Car Insurance.

Summary Terms and Conditions
- You will be reimbursed for any agreed expenses as part of this role.
- The rate of pay for this position is £11.68 p/h.
- Hours and times of work will be 3 hours each week. Exact times to be negotiated with employer.
- A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer
- Satisfactory passing of mandatory training care courses.
- Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer.
- Completion of a satisfactory probation period of 3 months.
