It is advisable to refer to this when submitting your application for the post.Job PurposeTo support a young mum with domestic and personal care and accessing the communityLocation: Taverham/HorsfordDetailsI am a young woman who is a wheelchair user with a 4 month old baby, therefore I need support to be able to maintain a tidy home, care for my child, and get out for shopping and mother & baby group. My PA may also need to help with some personal care, assisting me to bathe which eases my pain, as well as helping to wash my dreadlocks. Because of the element of personal care a female PA would be preferred. At present I am in temporary accommodation in Taverham, waiting for adaptations to a property in Horsford that I hope to move in to very soon.Person specification· Responsible and safety aware· Child friendly· Flexible· Driver/own car with appropriate class of insuranceSummary terms and conditions· The rate of pay for this position is £13.00 per hour· Hours and times of work: 10 hours weekly. Flexible times to be discussed at interview but most likely spread over 3 or 4 daysThe post is subject to the following:· A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.· Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 3 months· Completion of free Care Skills Training as part of role.
