Data Engineer - AWS - Paying £550 per day
We are recruiting for multiple Data Engineers for an initial 6 month contract to work with a consultancy and their client in the Government Sector.
Due to the nature of the end-client, you will need to hold ACTIVE DV (Developed Vetting) Clearance.
You will be Performing data assessments which will entail gathering data in various formats and sizes, converting them to a usable format and documenting the findings. You will be transforming and pipelining data sets and helping build an AWS environment for storage.
Requirements:
- Strong Experience working within AWS.
- Experience with distributed data processing and transformation. PySpark is used throughout the project.
- Experience using Apache AirFlow, AWS Athena and - AWS Glue would be helpful but not required.
- Experience with AWS Step Functions or DataBricks is desirable.
