Crynodeb
The successful candidate will have a minimum 2 years experience (franchised dealership experience preferred but not essential), an NVQ Level 3 in light vehicle maintenance, and full UK driving licence. Qualification as an MOT tester would be advantageous but not essential, however the successful candidate must be willing to work towards qualification as a tester, also be prepared to attend Ford training courses with a view to achieving Ford Technician status as a minimum. The post requires the ability to carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on cars and light commercials, fault finding and diagnostics, warranty repairs, and preferably MOT testing.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.30 a.m. to 17.18 p.m. and one Saturday in four from 8.30 a.m. until 12.00 noon. Holiday entitlement is 22 days per year plus 8 bank holidays.
