M is a 29 year old male who has Cerbral Palsy and is Quadraplegic and uses a wheelchair fulltime. M needs support accessing the community (going for walks) and escorting me to the Day Care centre and Hydrotherapy. He would prefer to have a female worker due to the need for support with personal care. Main DutiesTo support M with:· Assistance with personal care· Accessing the community· Going for walks· Attending HydrotherapyEssential Criteria· Non-smoker· Must be able to drive and have a full, clean licence in order to use M’s vehicle.· Must be up to date with Covid vaccinations
Personal Qualities & Attributes Required· Responsible, reliable, and trustworthy.· Excellent timekeeping.· Some previous PA experience would be advantageous but not essential.· Good communication and social skills.· To respect confidentiality and privacy.Location: Southdown, Bath and North East SomersetHours: 16 hours per week - Monday 9:30 to 3:30, Tuesday and Wednesday 9:30 - 2.30
Pay: £12.50 per hour.
Holiday: 5.6 weeks per year including bank holidays (pro rata for part time).Start Date: As Soon As Possible.Additional Information· Appointment will be subject to a DBS check, funded by the employer.Please note that this advert has been placed on behalf of an individual employer that we are supporting.
