If you possess a passion for driving and are looking for an exciting opportunity in the industry, then this role could be perfect for you!Responsibilities:- Safely and efficiently operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle, complying with all relevant traffic laws and regulations.- Deliver goods and products to various destinations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.- Conduct pre and post vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness, reporting any defects or issues promptly.- Properly load and secure goods to prevent damage during transportation.- Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.- Complete all necessary paperwork, including delivery notes and logbooks, accurately and in a timely manner.- Follow designated routes and schedules while considering factors such as traffic and weather conditions.- Perform basic maintenance tasks on the vehicle, such as monitoring fuel levels or cleaning the interior.- Adhere to health and safety guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment for both yourself and others.Qualifications:- Hold a valid HGV Class 2 driving license and appropriate certification.- Possess a CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.- Proven experience as an HGV Class 2 Driver, preferably in a similar role within the driving industry.- Sound knowledge of driving legislation and road safety regulations.- Excellent time management and organizational skills.- Strong communication abilities, with a customer-focused approach.- Ability to work independently and handle a variety of tasks simultaneously.- Good physical stamina and the ability to work in varying weather conditions.Pay Rate: £13.00 per hourIf you meet the above qualifications and are ready to take on this temporary role as an HGV Class 2 Driver in Leicester, then we would love to hear from you!
