We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Van Driver to join our client's team in Smethwick on a temporary basis. If you are an experienced driver with a passion for the driving industry, we want to hear from you!Responsibilities:- Safely and responsibly operate a company van for local deliveries and collections- Plan and execute efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries and pickups- Adhere to all traffic regulations and safety requirements to maintain a clean driving record- Load and unload packages and materials, ensuring they are properly secured- Conduct daily vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues or defects to the appropriate channels- Provide excellent customer service, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times- Complete all required paperwork and maintain accurate records of deliveries and collectionsQualifications:- Valid UK driving license, preferably with no more than 3 penalty points- Proven experience as a Van Driver or similar role is desirable- Ability to navigate efficiently and effectively using GPS and other navigation systems- Excellent time-management and organizational skills- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately- Physically fit and able to handle heavy and awkward packages when required- Exceptional communication skills and a friendly customer-centric approach- A positive and proactive attitude, with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environmentWorking Hours and Compensation:- This position is temporary, offering flexibility in terms of working hours- The pay rate for this role is £10.42 per hourTo Apply:Please visit our website at www.workchain.co.uk and complete the online application form.
