Valeter required for a well-known company located in Ilkeston. This particular company provide flexible, comprehensive vehicle solutions including: vehicle rental, contract hire, finance solutions and fleet management services.
The role
Using of a steamer to desticker and valet fleet of vehicles using various different steps to achieve this
Ensure all vehicles are cleaned and presented to the highest standards, both internally and externally
You may also be required to carry out general yard operative duties from time to time as required
Perform tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, and polishing vehicle interiors
Vacuum and clean vehicle upholstery, carpets and mats
Utilise appropriate cleaning agents and chemicals to maintain a flawless vehicle appearance
Inspect vehicles regularly to identify and report any damages or malfunctions
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient vehicle rotation and prioritisation
Follow health and safety guidelines, maintaining a clean and hazard-free working environment
Assist with general duties as required to support the smooth running of the operation
Full training provided
Requirements
Experience in a similiar role desirable but not essential
A meticulous eye for detail, with the ability to deliver high-quality results within specified timeframes
Basic understanding of health and safety regulations within an industrial environment
Good physical fitness, capable of carrying out physically demanding tasks
Proactive approach, able to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic
Safety boots & a hi-vis vest
Hours
Monday to Friday
8am to 5pm
