If you are passionate about the driving industry and possess the necessary qualifications, we encourage you to apply today!Key Responsibilities:- Safely and efficiently operate an HGV Class 1 vehicle, adhering to all road traffic regulations and health and safety guidelines.- Carry out vehicle checks before and after each journey, ensuring that the vehicle is in suitable condition for transport.- Safely load and unload goods, ensuring secure packaging to prevent damage during transportation.- Plan routes and effectively manage time to ensure timely delivery and pickup of goods.- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including customer signatures and any delivery discrepancies.- Communicate with the transport office and customers regarding any issues or delays that may arise.- Provide exceptional customer service, always maintaining a professional and polite attitude.Qualifications and Skills:- Valid HGV Class 1 license, CPC, and Digi Tacho card.- Minimum of 2 years' experience as an HGV driver, preferably within the same industry.- Excellent knowledge of road traffic regulations.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently and effectively manage time.- Good physical fitness, as the role may involve manual handling of goods.
