Location: Canning Town - IOT campus
We currently have a new opening for a Catering Assistant to join Newham College, helping to coordinate day-to-day activities at the Canning Town - IOT Campus within the kitchen and ensuring quality services are provided to students and staff.
You'll also be responsible in assisting with food preparation, cooking and working within a wider team to ensure catering services are carried out efficiently on a daily basis.

- To assist in the maintenance of the kitchen and the Catering department facilities and ensure serviceability and security of tools and equipment and ensure Health and Safety requirements are met.
- To present a professional image to all customers and presentation and serving of food to an agreed standard.
- Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate or equivalent
- Experience in Customer Service
- IT Skills, Word, Excel and Outlook
