Warehouse Installation Technician - Ongoing contract with view to permanent
Location: Leyland, UK
We're currently recruiting for a warehouse installation technician to join our clients workforce in Leyland, PR25. Our client is a nationwide distributor of rental medical equipment such as medical beds, hoists and reclining furniture.
Key Responsibilities:- Configuring and testing equipment in preparation for distribution.- Ensuring all equipment passes health and safety standards for use.- Using a scanner to log status updates on equipment.- Entering equipment data onto inhouse systems.- Order picking and loading equipment onto vehicles.- General warehouse duties.
Qualifications and Skills:- Previous experience within engineering due to configuring equipment.- Sound knowledge of technical equipment installation and maintenance procedures.- Proficiency in identifying and troubleshooting technical faults in a systematic manner.- Ability to read technical diagrams, schematics, and manuals accurately.- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively liaise with team members.- Strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.- Flexibility to work in various environments and adapt to changing project requirements.- Relevant technical qualifications or certifications will be advantageous.
