Automotive Electrician

Salary: £12 per hour (overtime available)

Hours: Monday-Friday / 8am-4:30pm

Location: Trusham

Contract: Temporary (with a chance of going permanent for the right candidate)

Acorn by Synergie is currently recruiting for an Auto Electrician for a leading Southwest automotive company who are growing from strength to strength and pride themselves on providing top-notch services to customers. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, has a strong work ethic, and is able to work efficiently in a team environment.

As the Automotive Electrician, you will have the opportunity to work Monday to Friday and will be responsible for basic vehicle wiring. But that's not all, as you progress in your role, you will also have the chance to learn more specialist wiring functions. That's right, you'll have the opportunity to expand your knowledge and skills within this dynamic field.

Your role will involve fault finding and rectification of electrical issues in vehicles. This means you'll be using your problem-solving skills to diagnose and fix any electrical problems that may arise. But don't worry, you won't be expected to know everything from day one. You'll have the chance to learn while on the job and our highly skilled team will be there to support and guide you along the way.

Due to the site’s location, the ideal candidate should possess a valid driver's license and have access to a mode of transport, as there are no public transport options.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of automotive electrical systems and be able to read and interpret wiring diagrams. You must also have a keen eye for detail, as even the smallest mistake in electrical wiring can lead to major issues. Your knowledge and experience in the field will be highly valued and we encourage you to share your expertise with the team.
