Workchain is a leading UK-based recruitment agency specializing in providing comprehensive job opportunities in various industries. We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Class 1 Driver to join our client's team in Lutterworth, UK, on a temporary basis.

Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently transport goods across designated routes, ensuring timely deliveries
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its roadworthiness
- Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to load and unload goods
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any issues or discrepancies
- Provide exceptional customer service and represent the company in a professional manner
- Report any vehicle malfunctions or accidents immediately to the relevant authorities
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of yourself and others

Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Class 1 driving license, with relevant CPC and Digi card
- Previous experience as a Class 1 Driver in the UK driving industry is essential
- A good understanding of current tachograph legislation
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with colleagues and customers effectively
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- A proactive and responsible approach towards ensuring safety on the road
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this role is between £14.00 - £17.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
