Teaching Assistant – SEN / SEMH / ASD / ADHD Support Role

Luma Education Recruitment are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant in Fakenham to support pupils with a range of needs, including SEN, SEMH, ASD, ADHD, and behavioural challenges.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about inclusive education, behaviour support, and helping children reach their full potential in a supportive school environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils
Support teachers in delivering engaging, accessible lessons
Implement behaviour management strategies (PRICE / TeamTeach desirable)
Support pupils’ academic, social, emotional, and behavioural development
Help create a positive, safe, and structured classroom environment
Requirements

Experience working in schools, education, youth work, or care settings
Confident supporting pupils with challenging behaviour and additional needs
Calm, patient, resilient, and proactive approach
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Flexible and adaptable to different classroom environments
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
