Learning Support Assistant – SEN / SEMH / ASD / ADHD Role
Luma Education Recruitment are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant in Fakenham to support pupils with a range of additional needs, including SEN, SEMH, ASD, ADHD, and behavioural challenges.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about inclusive education, behaviour support, and helping young people succeed both academically and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils
Support teachers in delivering engaging, accessible learning activities
Implement behaviour management strategies (PRICE / TeamTeach desirable)
Support pupils’ academic, social, emotional, and behavioural development
Help maintain a safe, structured, and positive learning environment
Requirements
Experience working in schools, education, youth work, care, or support roles
Confident supporting pupils with additional needs and challenging behaviour
Calm, patient, resilient, and proactive approach
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Flexible and adaptable in different classroom settings
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
