Summary
Action Staffing Ltd is currently recruiting on behalf of our client for 2 Level 3 Deputy Room Leaders to join a well-established nursery in Hither Green, SE13.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Nursery Practitioners looking to progress into a leadership role or for existing Deputy Room Leaders seeking a new challenge. The successful candidates will support the Room Leader in delivering exceptional care, education, and learning experiences for children aged 2–3 years and 3–5 years.
Working Hours
Full-Time – 40 hours per week
Shifts between 7:30am and 6:30pm
Key Responsibilities
Support the Room Leader with the daily management of the room.
Deliver high-quality childcare and education in line with EYFS requirements.
Plan and implement engaging activities to support children's development.
Observe, assess, and monitor children's progress.
Assist in supervising and supporting room staff.
Build positive relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues.
Maintain safeguarding, health and safety, and welfare standards.
Help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
Candidate Requirements
Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification.
Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting.
Good understanding of EYFS, safeguarding, and child development.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to support and motivate colleagues within the room.
Passion for providing high-quality childcare and education.
