Are you an experienced Level 3 Room Leader looking to take the next step in your Early Years career?
Action Staffing Ltd is recruiting on behalf of our client for a dedicated and motivated Room Leader to lead the 2–3 Years Room within a thriving nursery setting. This is a fantastic opportunity for a childcare professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering outstanding early years education and care.
As Room Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operation of the room, supporting your team, and ensuring children receive the highest standard of care and learning opportunities in line with the EYFS framework.
Working Hours
Full-Time – 40 hours per week
Shifts between 7:30am and 6:30pm
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the daily operation of the 2–3 years room.
Plan and deliver stimulating learning experiences in line with EYFS.
Support, mentor, and guide nursery practitioners within the room.
Monitor children's development and maintain accurate observations and assessments.
Build strong partnerships with parents and carers.
Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and welfare requirements are met.
Maintain high standards of care, learning, and room presentation.
Promote a positive and inclusive environment for children and staff.
Candidate Requirements
Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification.
Previous experience as a Room Leader or Senior Nursery Practitioner.
Strong knowledge of EYFS and child development.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Commitment to delivering outstanding childcare and education.
