Summary
You’ll work as part of a friendly dental team, supporting dentists and colleagues to deliver high‑quality care. The role is hands‑on and people‑focused, combining clinical support with patient communication and day‑to‑day organisation. Your work will help clinics run smoothly and ensure patients receive safe, respectful care.
What you’ll do:
• Support the dentist during treatments by preparing equipment, materials and instruments
• Reassure patients and explain procedures in a clear, calm way
• Prepare patients for x‑rays, process images and maintain accurate records
• Clean, sterilise and maintain equipment to high infection control standards
• Carry out administrative tasks, including appointments and patient information
What we’re looking for:
• A qualified dental nurse registered with the Dental Nurse National Register
• Experience working in a dental setting, with good knowledge of dental procedures
• Clear communication skills and a caring, patient approach
• Ability to organise your workload and use judgement in busy clinics
• Willingness to work flexibly and travel between services when needed
