Support Worker: Prestwich

We have an exciting opportunity to learn new skills and build experience!

Key Job Role Information

Role – Female Support workers

Salary - £14.65 per hour inclusive of holiday entitlement

Shifts - 08:00 - 23:00 with sleeps

Expected hours – From 24 hours per week

Key Role essentials and responsibilities –

- Full UK drivers’ licence required

- Competent verbal and written English

- Must have experience within health and social care settings

Meet the person you’ll be supporting:

· Who am I ? I am 34 years old

· What challenges do I have? I am diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy and mild LD.

· How would I describe myself? I am sociable and friendly, I have good relationships with my family and friends.

· What types of people do I get along with? I would like a supportive team, who will enable to follow my religious practices and achieve my goals.

What do I like doing? I like baking, swimming, cycling and going out to the pub with friends. I keep a Kosher home, and would like to attend a synagogue in the future.

My team

How many people support me at one time? I am supported on a 1:1 basis throughout the day, and during the sleep shift.
What shift patterns do my team do? My shift patterns is 08:00 am – 23:00 and sleep.
I want my staff to be friendly and engaging with me and to be kind and interested in getting to know me, I often feel better when I have a supportive and trusted staff team
