Summary

Salary: £30,576.00 per annum Contract: Full-time, Permanent, 42 hours per week (5 days a week on a rota basis, including weekends every other week) The Opportunity We are recruiting an experienced Deputy Manager to support one of our residential services at Blamsters Farm in Halstead, Essex. Blamsters Farm is a picturesque. well established converted farm setting made up of multiple services of different sizes with a range of specialisations, supporting adults with learning disabilities, promoting independence, through person led, values based practice. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with the experienced Registered Manager to help continue our work supporting people in their home. Role Overview As Deputy Manager, you will day to day running of the service, helping ensure high-quality, compliant, and person-centred support. You will lead by example, supporting staff development, and step in for the Registered Manager when required. Key responsibilities * Support the set-up and day to day operation of the service * Assist with recruiting and developing the team in line with our values * Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, legislation and internal policies * Work closely with our support teams and the local authority to introduce new people we support into the service * Build and maintain positive relationships with families and stakeholders * Lead shifts and support colleagues to deliver high quality care About you * Experience as a Deputy Manager, Senior Support Worker/ Team Leader or a leadership role in adult social care * Level 3 diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (Level 5 or willingness to work towards desirable) * Good understanding of CQC requirements * Confident, supportive leader with strong communication kills * Passion for person- centred support and team development Why join us? * Be part of well established, supportive and motivated, stable team of experienced leaders, supporting adults with learning disabilities. * 31 days annual leave (including bank holidays) * Birthday off (after one year of service) * Ongoing development and career progression * Discounts platform, recognition schemes and colleague rewards If youre ready to shape a new service and grow your career from day one, we would love to hear from you.
