The Federated Governing Body of Cwmaber Infants and Junior Schools is looking to appoint a caretaker, based in the junior school, but also be able to provide cover for the infants, if required.
The successful candidate will carry out a range of duties to ensure safety, security, maintenance and cleanliness of the site and premises. The successful candidate will:
be an experienced cleaner / caretaker or experienced within building maintenance with a range of practical skills.
have good verbal communication skills when dealing with both children and adults • possess a firm understanding of health and safety procedures / issues.
For the role, we ask that you have:
Cleaning and support services N/SVQ Level 1 OR equivalent experience or equivalent qualification, or willingness to train to achieve these
Handyperson experience
Willingness to gain knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical and decorating repair procedures
