Duration: 6 months, rolling up to 2 years
Day rate: £650 per day (Inside IR35, PAYE)

Location: 2 days per week in Stratford, London office (moving to 50% in office from 1 September)

Our client is an independent regulatory body in the UK responsible for ensuring the financial markets work well for the consumers and the economy, promoting market integrity and effective competition.

They are looking for experienced senior Business Change practitioners to join their Departmental Change Teams to help to deliver their portfolio.

About the team

Within the Change Directorate, our Departmental Change Teams (DCT) work closely with business areas to deliver business change activities in support of technology, regulation, process and behavioural changes. DSTs are made up of key change disciplines such as business change, project management and business analysis.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Analysing stakeholder groups and driving stakeholder engagement and management to support project and programme delivery.
  • Developing detailed change impact assessments and securing a shared view of these impacts across areas impacted, the programme team and the business area sponsoring by the change.
  • Developing effective and appropriate change interventions and deliverables in conjunction with the business and programme team to manage these impacts. Change activities will include, amongst others: the establishment and leadership of change champion networks, communication plans, engagement materials, training needs analysis, go-live readiness plans and supporting the transition to BAU teams.
  • Working closely with project and programme teams to deliver change aligned to the Change Delivery Framework and collaborating with other areas to ensure a joined-up experience for end users.
  • Being an active member of the Business Change practice, supporting the development of content for capability frameworks, best practice methodologies and deliverable frameworks.

Skills required:

Minimum:

  • Proven experience of working in a business change role on a project or programme
  • Knowledge of how change management fits within both a waterfall and agile project delivery framework and experience of project planning.
  • Previous experience of delivering end-to-end organisational change involving changes to people, processes, technology, structure, behaviour and new ways of working.
  • PROSCI or other business change qualifications.

Essential:

  • Experience of stakeholder management with a diverse range of stakeholders, overcoming resistance to change and demonstrating the ability to gain trust and understand the issues that matter to people most.
  • Experience of identifying risks, developing mitigation actions and reaching agreement with stakeholders on the management of risks and issues.
  • Gives and receives information clearly and concisely and encourage open dialogue by listening and engaging in debate as appropriate to create ownership and commitment.
  • Ability to understand structures and business priorities and build credibility quickly.
  • Competent user of all Microsoft Office applications
