GRADE 5 £29,588 - £33,951 pa

We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised individual to play a vital role in supporting impactful health and care research across the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration North West Coast (ARC NWC).

ARC NWC is a partnership of over 80 organisations working to reduce health inequalities and improve outcomes for communities with the greatest need. As Research Theme Administrator, you will support the smooth running of research themes across this large, multi-partner collaboration.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will provide high-quality administrative and operational support, including servicing meetings, coordinating events, maintaining accurate records and databases, supporting financial and performance reporting, and acting as a key point of contact for partners and stakeholders. The role involves close working with senior academics, NHS and local authority colleagues, and will require occasional travel across the North West Coast.

You will ideally have experience in a higher education, research, or health and care environment, with strong organisational, IT and communication skills. Confident working to deadlines, you will take a proactive and adaptable approach, ensuring excellent support is delivered within a complex and fast-paced environment.

Please contact the ARC NWC team, via email: arcnwc@liverpool.ac.uk with any questions about the post.

The post is available until 31 March 2031.

The university operates a hybrid work environment for staff, with a current minimum requirement of 40% on Campus, with 60% considered desirable where possible.
