We are seeking a proactive and community-focused Research Inclusion and Engagement Support Officer to support the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration North West Coast (ARC NWC). This partnership of over 80 organisations works to reduce health inequalities through applied health and social care research.

You will support the Research Inclusion Lead and wider ARC NWC team to champion inclusive research inclusion practices across the region. The role focuses on increasing awareness of research opportunities, particularly among underserved communities, and strengthening relationships with service users, carers, voluntary groups and local partners.

Key responsibilities include facilitating public involvement activities, organising engagement events, contributing to social media promotion, supporting training in patient and public involvement, and producing reports to monitor engagement impact. You will also work with our partners to help embed a strong research culture.

We are looking for someone with excellent communication and organisational skills, and the confidence to build effective partnerships. If you are passionate about health equity and inclusive research, we encourage you to apply. You should have 3 GCSEs at Grade C or above (or equivalent) including English Language and Mathematics.

Please contact the ARC NWC team, via email: arcnwc@liverpool.ac.uk with any questions about the post.
