Summary
We are currently recruiting for an Administrator to join a team based in Middlesbrough.
Duties include:
Acting as the first point of contact for customers, representing the Council professionally.
Handling calls in a friendly, efficient manner, recording contact details, submitting service requests and processing payments using CRM systems.
Welcoming customers into the Customer Centre and supporting them with online reporting, applications and payments.
Providing reception support at central locations and responding to enquiries promptly.
Maintaining knowledge of Council and public services to advise or direct customers appropriately.
Escalating customer issues to the Customer Centre Coordinator or relevant teams where required.
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience in a similar administrative or customer service role.
5 GCSEs including English and Maths at grades A–C / 5–9.
