Summary
Training delivery and Support Advise clinical and admin users on the most effective, safe and efficient use of the Clinical Applications available. Identify, in conjunction with stakeholders, any clinical risks associated with the use of Clinical Applications and electronic patient records. Manage allocation of resources within the team to meet business and/or clinical needs. Working with the Test Lead, acting as an SME to support the development of testing plans based on the complex workflow and system configuration requirements to ensure the systems are fit for purpose and meet clinicians needs. Provide technical and professional advice regarding Clinical Applications training. Ensure training booking systems processes are up to date and team are following standard operating procedures. Develop a training prospectus and publicise training courses available. Understand thoroughly the current clinical information systems and the processes involved in their use across the Trust and adapt this knowledge to learning replacement and new systems introduced. Plan flexible training delivery methods to meet the users varying needs and time constraints. Develop training materials, user manuals and guidance notes for Trust information systems. Clinical Safety Management system is followed and all clinical risks are assessed in conjunction with the Clinical Safety Officer Using initiative to plan work to ensure effective training delivery, the post holder will resolve conflicting timescales and priorities independently and exercise judgement and discretion to resolve issues. You will also be required to adopt a mentor role in the development of team members to assist them in acquiring in-depth knowledge of training and training theory. Trouble shooting technical difficulties which impact on the clinical systems. Maintain existing skills and develop further levels of expertise.
