Summary
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver personalised English and Maths tuition at GCSE level
- Adapt teaching strategies to support dyslexia and individual learning needs
- Build a strong, trusting relationship to encourage engagement and confidence
- Support emotional regulation through a calm, consistent approach
- Monitor progress and provide feedback
Requirements:
- Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly dyslexia
- Strong understanding of GCSE English and Maths curriculum
- Experience supporting students with social, emotional, or behavioural needs
- Patient, resilient, and nurturing approach
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- Right to work in the UK
