Summary
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver personalised, one-to-one tuition tailored to the student's needs and abilities
- Provide a structured yet flexible approach to learning
- Support the student's emotional wellbeing and help manage anxiety
- Build a positive, trusting relationship to encourage engagement
- Adapt teaching strategies to suit SEN requirements
Requirements:
- Experience working with students with SEN, particularly autism and/or ADHD
- Understanding of anxiety and how it can impact learning
- Patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
- Experience in tutoring or teaching at Key Stage 3 level
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- Right to work in the UK
