Summary
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective GCSE tuition sessions (Maths, English, and/or Science)
- Adapt teaching strategies to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Tailor lessons to meet individual learning needs and styles
- Support students in preparing for exams, including exam techniques and revision strategies
- Monitor and report on student progress
Requirements:
- Experience teaching or tutoring at GCSE level (Key Stage 4)
- Proven experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Strong subject knowledge in at least one core subject (Maths, English, or Science)
- Ability to build rapport, patience, and a supportive teaching approach
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching/tutoring experience preferred
