Summary
About the Role
As the Admin Level 3 at Thrybergh Primary School, you will be the linchpin of our daily operations. You will be the welcoming first point of contact for our children, parents, and visitors, whilst working closely behind the scenes with the Headteacher and senior staff to manage the school’s administrative systems. This is a dynamic role where you will oversee data management, coordinate school events, and continuously develop our procedures to ensure the office provides an outstanding support service. Responsibilities
Operational Support: Support the day-to-day operation of the office, acting as the first point of contact both face-to-face and over the telephone. Communicate effectively with colleagues, pupils, and internal/external stakeholders, providing general advice and guidance to ensure all queries are dealt with appropriately.
Administration & Procedures: Undertake a range of administrative and organisational tasks using a variety of ICT packages and office equipment to provide a timely and accurate support service. Assist with the maintenance and development of administrative procedures to enable effective operational delivery.
Data & Reporting: Accurately update and maintain complex systems and databases. Prepare and provide detailed management information reports to inform senior management decisions.
Event Coordination & Meetings: Assist with the arrangements for academy events, including scheduling meetings and arranging travel for senior colleagues to ensure the efficient running of events. You may also be required to take minutes and provide accurate records of meetings.
Resource Management: Manage stock levels and order supplies when necessary, ensuring colleagues have the correct equipment and materials to carry out their roles effectively.
Qualifications and Skills
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent qualification/experience).
