Summary
Level 3 Qualified (Full and Relevant) Early Years Practitioner – Full Time, All Year Round, Permanent Position
We are a newly opened early years setting and are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join our growing team on a full-time, all year-round, permanent basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is seeking long-term stability and wants to become a key part of a developing setting, helping us build a warm, nurturing, and high-quality environment from the ground up.

The successful candidate will:
Hold a Level 3 Childcare qualification (full and relevant) or higher
Have experience working in an early years setting (minimum of 2 years preferred)
Hold a Paediatric First Aid (PFA) certificate or be willing to obtain one
Have a DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply
Be caring, reliable, and enthusiastic about supporting children’s learning and development
Work well as part of a team and build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues

Planning and delivering age-appropriate activities that promote learning, development, and socialisation
Supervising children during playtime, mealtimes, and rest periods to ensure their safety at all times
Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
Supporting children's emotional well-being by offering comfort and encouragement
Communicating effectively with parents and carers regarding children's progress and daily activities
Assisting with the administration of daily routines such as nappies, feeding, and hygiene tasks
Leading by example in behaviour management, demonstrating patience, kindness, and professionalism
Contributing to team meetings and ongoing professional development sessions to enhance childcare practices
Managing daily documentation related to children's development and activities
Skills:
Proven experience in childcare or nursery settings with a solid understanding of early childhood development principles
Strong leadership and teamwork skills to support both children and colleagues effectively
Excellent communication skills in English, capable of liaising confidently with parents, colleagues, and children
Ability to organise activities that support individual needs whilst fostering group participation
Childcare qualifications (Level 3 or relevant early childhood education credentials) required
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment
Valid driving licence is advantageous for roles requiring travel between multiple nursery locations or community engagement activities
