The Role
An exciting opportunity is available for a full-time Teacher of the Deaf, starting in September. This role would suit a Deaf education professional seeking a supportive, values-led school environment.
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Qualified Teacher of the Deaf (mandatory)
- Confident delivery of lessons using BSL
- Experience within specialist or Deaf education
Although BSL training is available to staff, applicants must already have a strong working level due to BSL being the first language of most pupils.
