BHASVIC is seeking to appoint an outstanding Teacher of History. We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and well-organised teacher to contribute to the teaching of Modern and/or Early History A Level. The post has arisen due to a current teacher requesting a temporary reduction in hours.

The successful candidate will join a vibrant college community which is open, friendly, and supportive. As a college, we are ambitious for our students, and we are seeking to appoint staff who can bring the right blend of flexibility, commitment, energy, and vision. Fixed-Term for one year from 1 September 2026 – 31 August 2027
Part time: 9.5 hours per week (FTE of 0.4130)
The current full-time salary range for qualified teachers is £33,465 to £51,714 per annum (depending upon experience). This will be pro-rated based on your FTE.
