SEND Teaching Assistant Required - Hartlepool
A welcoming mainstream primary school in Hartlepool is seeking to appoint a dedicated and nurturing SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team from May half term.
This role involves supporting pupils within a SEN class, helping to meet a range of additional needs and ensuring all children can access learning in a supportive and inclusive environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting pupils' confidence, independence, and engagement.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience working with children with SEND
- Be confident supporting pupils with a range of additional needs
- Be proactive and able to use their own initiative
- Be able to adapt and create engaging learning resources
- Demonstrate patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach
- Support pupils' social, emotional, and educational development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
