School HR Assistant - Nottingham
Start Date: 13th April
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00-16:00 or 8:30-16:30
Duration: 1 month initially, with potential to extend
A friendly and supportive school in Nottingham is looking for a confident and organised School HR Assistant to join their team this April. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with school‑based admin or HR experience who is ready to hit the ground running in a busy, rewarding environment.
The Role
- Recruitment administration and safer‑recruitment checks
- Supporting onboarding and compliance processes
- Maintaining accurate staff files and HR documentation
- Assisting with general HR enquiries
- Providing efficient, professional support to staff, candidates, and external partners
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Previous school‑based experience in a similar role (essential)
- HR Assistant experience (preferable)
- An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- A proactive, professional attitude and clear communication skills
- A calm, reliable approach and the ability to multitask confidently
