Operational Change Manager (Facilities)

Location: London, E14 9SH

Hours of work: 40

Contract Type: Permanent

ISS is recruiting for an Operational Change Manager (Facilities) to support the delivery of change across a major banking client contract.

This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role within the PMO function, responsible for ensuring operational changes are implemented smoothly, efficiently, and with minimal disruption across a complex, multi-site environment.

Job Description

This role will support change across multiple campuses, including London, Manchester, Northampton, and Scotland, working closely with operational teams on the ground to embed improvements into day-to-day service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Lead operational change projects across the Barclays account from initiation through to completion.

Deliver structured project plans, ensuring all stages (planning, governance, delivery, and closure) are clearly defined and executed.

Work directly within operational environments (cleaning, catering, engineering) to understand current service delivery and assess how change will impact BAU.

Implement changes such as new equipment, chemicals, processes, or service improvements within facilities management.

Ensure all changes deliver clear business benefits, including efficiency, service quality, and cost impact.

Manage RAID logs, governance, reporting, and stakeholder communications.

Proactively engage stakeholders - driving meetings, chasing inputs, and ensuring progress is maintained.

Support operational teams in adopting and embedding change effectively.

Travel across UK sites to engage with teams and ensure successful delivery.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

Proven experience delivering operational change within Facilities Management (e.g. cleaning, catering, engineering services).

Strong understanding of how change impacts frontline service delivery.

Demonstrable experience managing end-to-end project lifecycles.

A hands-on, proactive, self-starter who takes ownership and drives delivery.

Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to challenge and push for progress.

Ability to clearly articulate and evidence business benefits from change initiatives.

Prince2 (essential) and APM, Six Sigma or similar (desirable).

This is an ideal role for someone who thrives in fast-paced operational environments, enjoys being on the ground driving real change, and can balance structured project delivery with practical implementation.
