1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant - Primary School - Stratford - £96-£115 per day
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Stratford. This is a fantastic opportunity to support a child with additional needs on a one-to-one basis, helping them to access learning and thrive within the classroom environment.
The Role:
As a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with a pupil who requires additional support, both academically and emotionally. You will play a key role in implementing tailored strategies, supporting engagement, and promoting independence throughout the school day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support for a pupil with special educational needs
- Assist with the delivery of personalised learning plans
- Support behaviour management and emotional regulation
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO
- Monitor and track progress, providing feedback where required
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with children with SEN (ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs)
- Patient, nurturing, and resilient approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
