We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented Teacher of Spanish to join our thriving Modern Foreign Languages department on a maternity cover contract. You will deliver high quality Spanish teaching up to GCSE, inspiring students with your passion, expertise and commitment to excellent outcomes. The ability to teach French to GCSE is highly desirable. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic teacher who is eager to make a real impact and contribute to a supportive and forward‑thinking team.
The candidate:
• will be a well-qualified Language specialist and able to teach all aspects of Spanish to GCSE
• will be a competent classroom teacher
• will possess an imaginative and creative approach to teaching the subject to ensure students receive a broad body of MFL experience
• will be committed to raising the level of students’ interest and achievement
• will be an effective departmental team member
• will possess strong ICT skills
