Summary
KS2 Primary Teacher – Blackburn
Humly is recruiting a Primary Teacher QTS to join a primary school on a long-term basis.
This is a full-time role starting 13/04/2026 and continuing until 22/05/2026. This role would suit an experienced KS2 teacher who can provide consistency and stability during a long-term sickness absence. You will take full classroom responsibility and play a key role in maintaining continuity for pupils, with the potential for the role to extend beyond the initial period.
What You’ll Be Doing
Planning and delivering engaging lessons across Key Stage 2
Managing the classroom environment to support positive behaviour
Assessing, marking, and tracking pupil progress
Adapting teaching to meet a range of learning needs
Contributing to the wider school team and maintaining continuity for pupils
What You’ll Bring
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Proven experience teaching in KS2
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Ability to provide consistency during staff absence
This role is not suitable for ECTs
Pay
Non-AWR: £140 – £150+ per day
AWR (from week 13): £168.80 – £232.57 per day (M1 – M6)
